Responsibilities:

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure (Containers, Virtual Machines, Servers, Databases)
  • Working on the ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Requirements:

  • Experience in working on Linux-based infrastructure
  • Excellent understanding of Python, Django, and node.js
  • Containerization (Docker)
  • Cloud platform integration (Microsoft Azure)
  • Knowledge of the Parse platform will be an advantage
  • Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
